The Diva’s championship is the first that could change hands as AJ Lee has run her course and even become the longest reigning champion.
An argument may arise that there is no one in the stale division that could replace AJ but unless you change hands you never know. Naomi has been impressive with her in ring work and clearly deserves a great push. Putting the titles on her will certainly look good, as AJ could look better as a tainted diva that lost the title. She could then go to feud with Tamina or someone with NXT in order to give others a chance to revive the division.
Secondly and more importantly, the elimination chamber could prove ground for one of the biggest eruptions in recent pay-per-view history.
This could materialize when Randy Orton drops the title to Daniel Bryan. At various grounds this is the most likely possibility to happen.
Orton hasn’t been any impressive in his title run and the titles are starting to lose their reputation lying on his shoulder. His character is already so stale that the company wouldn’t want to risk by putting him the WrestleMania main event with the title.
And with Batista getting all the jeers from the crowd, putting two stale wrestlers for a title match wouldn’t be the best decision for business.
But most importantly, the WWE fans are going to riot if Bryan doesn’t win the title. He is one of the most over stars in the company now and hasn’t had a credible title run that aids his popularity.
The angry chanting fans have been hijacking the shows with yes chants and WWE wouldn’t want this to happen right before the launch of the Network.
So the Unified title might head home with the flying goat leaving us to witness one of the greatest fan reactions in the PG era.
