On the current tag-team scene in the WWE
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Titus is positive on good things coming out of the tag-team scenario in the WWE, especially after the return of The Dudley Boyz. He believes there is a lot of talent in the division, not just as teams but also as individuals as most of the guys in the teams end up participating in singles matches while their partner watch from ringside.
“The Dudleys are one of the most historically successful WWE tag teams in history, if not the most successful if you’re going by title reigns alone. It definitely gives a kick-start to a new season and a new era to the tag team division and hopefully we can continue to be a big fixture in that push for great tag team wrestling in WWE.” opined Titus.
On Batista and his start in the WWE
It is a known fact that former WWE Superstar Batista and Titus are neighbours and it was Batista who was instrumental in Titus getting his start in the WWE. Titus, when talking about his start, mentions how he was out shopping for some dress shoes in South Tampa and FCW was across the street which prompted him to call up Batista. ‘Hey, is this the place you were saying they practice at?’ and he said, ‘Yeah’ and I said, ‘Well I might go and poke my head in there and try to see what it’s about.’ recollects Titus on his chat with Batista.
Two weeks later, he got signed and started learning the ropes to be a WWE Superstar.
His favourite match against Rey Mysterio
Titus reminisces about a match he had with Rey Mysterio on SmackDown as one of his favourite matches. He calls Rey one of his favourites and one of the greatest performers in WWE history.
“It was a great learning experience for me. Rey was extremely, extremely professional with me. He guided me through, suggested things, let me do things with him that… it was just a really cool experience, a great learning experience” said Titus.
