Having McIntyre beat Finn Balor shouldn't come in as a surprise, the least WWE could do to save Balor here is to make sure that he kicks out of at least one Claymore Kick before McIntyre could do further damage by hitting another one and finishing off Balor and the match for the three-count and the win.

Having Finn Balor lose clean is definitely going to help him, considering that his illness has already put him out of contention to win the MMC.
