It’s been quite some time with financial issues in Dixie Carter’s TNA. Few weeks ago, they had to shift their headquarters to a warehouse as they were reportedly unable to renew the lease of their previous office. Wrestlinginc.com reports that TNA may undergo major changes in the upcoming weeks to stay alive as a wrestling promotion.
Dixie has been negotiating with several potential investors to invest in the company. There has been talks with Aroluxe Marketing, which former wrestlers The Harris Twins are invloved with.
The company has been paying for some TNA tapings recently and within few days, TNA pays them back. Unfortunately, a lot of money of Aroluxe for this week’s tapings are due. According to their deal, if TNA fails to pay them back before the scheduled time, then Aroluxe may claim majority ownership of TNA, leaving Carter as a minority owner.
Dixie Carter has been trying to avoid losing creative control over TNA during negotiations. Many investors were interested to invest in TNA, demanding majority ownership in return, but every offer was denied by Carter. But it appears that she may have to let it go now, in order to save the company.
