According to wrestling promoter David Hero, who has collaborated with wrestling franchise TNA for quite some time, two former employees in the form of Eric Young and Bobby Roode are owed around a combined $100,000 by the company – reports allwrestlingnews.com.
While speaking to Pro Wrestling Report, Hero said: ”Bobby Roode and Eric Young left because they were owed a combined six figures”
“How do you not pay those two guys? You let Bobby Roode go, a guy who could have gone to WWE but he wanted to be loyal to the company. Thank God he left. He’ll be a big star in NXT. He’ll make the main roster in a year from now. Same with Eric Young”, Hero further explained.
TNA are known to have had issues regarding the payment of their stars in the past, but this is the first time wrestlers have quit the franchise due to non payment of dues. TNA’s loss of Young and Roode will surely be someone else’s gain as the duo boast of immense talent, having joined the franchise back in 2004 after short stints with WWE.
The duo have their fair share of accolades with TNA, making them assets to any franchise they chose to join and it looks like WWE is the one to gain in this debacle.
