TNA had announced on Saturday’s tapings that those would be the final Impact Tapings in the Universal Studio in Orlando for the year. TNA then asked fans to sign up for a mailing list to learn about 2017 tapings.
Matt Hardy later proceeded to say that a taping was going to be taking place at his compound in North Carolina, where the already cult classic The Final Deletion took place. Hardy said that he is looking to outdo The Final Deletion & Delete and Decay.
One important happening is said to be King Maxxell’s debut. It will also see some important matches such as TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys vs. Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett vs. The Decay, and Rosemary defending her TNA Knockouts Title.
Hardy also invited tag teams from around “time and space” to compete in the main event of the episode that will be titled Tag Team Apocalypto. It will be a falls count anywhere in the compound.
Hardy invited “The Bucks of Youth”(The Young Bucks), “The Express who Rocks and Rolls”(The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express), “The Bulldogs who are British”(The British Bulldogs), and “The Days Of The New”(The New Day). It is being said by PWInsider that both Hardy and Jeremy Borash are trying to book teams from the outside.
PWInsider further stated that the tapings would take place in the first week of November. Another match that is scheduled for the tapings is Grado vs Smoking Joe Fraizer(a Kangaroo on the Hardy Compound who is the reincarnation of the late great boxing legend).
Broken Matt Hardy has also said that he is interested in purchasing TNA
Matt Hardy spoke about rebranding TNA, in event of a purchase:
Now with Dixie Carter seemingly out of the picture, TNA seems to be going all out under Billy Corgan trying different things. It is being said that Corgan himself plans to completely rebrand TNA. As with the Broken Matt Hardy saga, expect them to squeeze as much out of it as they can because it’s clearly working.
