Kurt Angle vs Ethan Carter III not happening at TNA Slammiversary

The Kurt Angle vs. Ethan Carter III World Heavyweight Title Match will not be taking place at TNA's June 28th Slammiversary pay-per-view. TNA has the match scheduled for the July 1st Impact Wrestling episode and the contract signing will take place this coming Wednesday.

The match will be taped at the Impact Wrestling tapings scheduled for later this month, which actually take place before Slammiversary. The reason being if TNA tapes Impact Wrestling’s future episodes before Slammiversary 2015 then this PPV will be a waste as people will already know the results for the event and also the outcome of the title bouts & this will lead to many people not buying the PPV event.

TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted the photo of the new X-Division Championship, which will officially be unveiled soon. She posted the following:
