Some rivalries never end

This one was pretty fun.

The late 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka's rivalry is legendary, dating back to Snuka's infamous appearance on Piper's Pit in 1984 when the Rowdy one hit Snuka on the back of the head with a coconut. Not only did this make their Rumble appearances more fantastic, but the two also both have such a rich history in Madison Square Garden, the home of the 2008 Royal Rumble.

Jimmy Snuka was the first to enter, at number #18, followed by Piper at #19. Snuka had received a pretty big pop, while Piper got a huge one, and their interaction was very well received. Both men were eliminated by entry number #20, Kane, just after he entered the match. Due to their age and conditioning, Piper and Snuka's appearances were not meant to last long, but it was fun while it lasted.
