This is one that I really loved. When legends appear in the Royal Rumble, they typically last just a mere few minutes, several have even lasted less than a minute.

This was also the case for Booker T, who entered the 40 man Royal Rumble match at number #21 and lasted just over a minute before he was eliminated by New Nexus member Mason Ryan. I found this to be a major shame as Booker T is one of the all-time greats, and this was our first time seeing him in WWE since SummerSlam 2007. Booker was (and still is) in great shape and should have been given more time.

Just before this appearance, Booker T had actually signed a new contract with WWE to be a commentator on SmackDown and returned to SmackDown the following Thursday after this event. Booker made another Rumble appearance the following year, where he lasted just under 5 minutes. The 6 time World Champion still works for WWE today.
