The Outsiders, who were scheduled to face-off against Randy Savage, Sting, and Lex Luger, came into the contest claiming that they had a third man in their ranks who was seemingly going to even the odds out.
Early on in the match, Hogan and Nash took out Luger and even things up and that's when Hulk Hogan, the face of WCW, the man who solidified his place as the company's top babyface, came out to the ring and decided to Leg Drop Randy Savage of all people, leaving the crowd in a shocking state of mind.

Shortly afterwards, not only were the fans in the arena were left stunned but the entire Pro Wrestling fanbase in general witnessed something historic and groundbreaking, as The Outsiders revealed that their third man was non-other than Hulk Hogan. Yes, the biggest babyface in Professional Wrestling history had decided to turn his back on all his fans, as we witnessed the birth of the revolutionary New World Order.
