#6 Drew McIntyre
If Drew McIntyre hadn’t have sustained a serious shoulder injury in his TakeOver: War Games match against Andrade “Cien” Almas, he would probably already be back on the main roster by now.
The former 3MB member joined the NXT roster in April 2017, three years after being released by WWE, and just four months later he won the NXT Championship from Bobby Roode at TakeOver: Brooklyn III.
He was reportedly set to move up to Raw or SmackDown Live just days after losing his NXT Championship to Almas in November, but the injury he suffered in the match will sideline him until around April 2018.
When he returns, it’ll be in NXT – he’s already set his sights on a rematch for the title – but it won’t take long before he’s mixing it up on WWE’s main roster again.
