#1 Heavy Machinery
Undoubtedly, an obvious but bittersweet moment coming at the main event of NXT this week. Due to the advertising of Heavy Machinery's call up to the main roster, it was plainly obvious that they would be doing it without gold around their waists.
However, the team of Otis Dozevic and Tucker Knight have undoubtedly endeared themselves to the local NXT crowd at Full Sail University, having made it their home since signing for the WWE since the team was introduced back in July 2016.
Knight and Dozevic were given the ring as the Undisputed Era celebrated with their titles at the top of the ramp, which allowed a more emotional farewell between the beloved tag team and their fans in NXT.
In lieu of all of this, Knight and Dozevic gave a hell of a performance against the Undisputed Era. While having the momentum for the majority of the fight, the match only turned when both big men tried to take to the skies in order to seal their championships. The storyline reason matched up with reality as both teams were unable to put each other away with anything else to this point at the match as each team threw as much as they could in order to pick up the victory.
All in all, NXT ended on a sad note saying goodbye to two favorite sons as the year came to a close, but hopefully, they will be used well on the main roster as well.
