Ever since Elias made his debut on the main roster, he has been in the limelight with his concerts and performances, but has been directionless in terms of feuds, except for his title feud with Seth Rollins.

Although he is one of the few who has fared better on the main roster than his NXT run. His ability to get a reaction from the crowd could make him the next breakout star.
At present, he is embroiled in a feud between Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley, and is just there because of John Cena tagging in with Lashley at the Super Show-Down. After the event, he would be free again to join the World Cup.
