#1 Shane McMahon\'s drop from the Titantron- SummerSlam 2000

Shane McMahon is one heck of a guy who has the gall to do things few in the ring can even think of doing. His talent in the ring is exceptional and his penchant for high flying spots is even greater.

This moment was from SummerSlam 2000 and it was a match between Shane and Steve Blackman for the Hardcore championship. Shane was the hardcore champion and during the match Shane got out some of his accomplices to the ring to beat down Steve. He tied a rope around Blackman’s head and pulled him towards the giant screen.

Blackman fought back and took out the extra baggage. He then took a Kendo stick and started following Shane towards the Titantron. Shane started climbing up the Titantron and Blackman followed him with the stick. At this point, the fans knew a big spot was coming, but how big it would be was out of their imaginations.

Shane kept going until he reached the very top with Blackman just beneath him, whacking him with the kendo stick. what followed next made the crowd stand up in utter shock as Shane went into complete free fall and landed straight on a table, on his back. Blackman followed by coming down a little and landing a leg drop to further add insult to injury.

The referee stopped the match and handed Blackman the title, but the pop that Shane got was out of this world. The sheer height of his fall would give you goosebumps, even though the one he did at Backlash in 2001 was a little higher and even more insane. It was a treat to watch nonetheless, dangerous, but a treat to the eye.

It is surprising at times just how many bumps and risks Shane McMahon is willing to take in order to wow the fans, even though he is the chairman Vince McMahon’s son. There is no need for him to do such risky moves, but he is one crazy guy, no wonder he is called ‘Crazy’ Shane O’Mac.
