The main event and the final match of WrestleMania 9 was supposed to be one for the World Heavyweight Championship featuring the defending champion Bret Hart and Yokozuna. After some back and forth action, Mr. Fuji put salt on Bret Hart's eyes, that allowed the Japanese to pick up the victory.

The action wasn't finished there. Mr. Fuji challenged Hulk Hogan, who had come to check on Bret Hart, to an impromptu match. The Hulkster obliged and Mr. Fuji tried to put salt in his eyes too.
However, this time it backfired as Hogan ducked and the sodium chloride met Yokozuna's eyes. The American hero followed it up with his signature leg drop to win the championship within 22 seconds.
