Kofi Kingston’s time in the New Day has been the favorite chapter of his career. Many pundits and even wrestlers backstage like Big Show questioned Kingston putting his reputation on the line to team with unproven wrestlers Big E and Xavier Woods. All three guys were close friends that put their chemistry to use on the screen to create one of the greatest teams in WWE history.
The best tag match involving Kingston featured New Day successfully defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Lucha Dragons and The Usos in a Ladder match. These teams left it all in the ring and did the legacy of the tag team ladder match proud. This was one of the main matches to cement New Day as the top team in WWE, especially with Kingston delivering superb work as always.
