The Hardy Boyz made their WWE return at WrestleMania 33

WWE WrestleMania 33 saw The Hardy Boyz make a triumphant return to WWE television after close to seven years away from the company.

Matt and Jeff Hardy were announced by WrestleMania hosts The New Day as surprise entrants into a ladder match for the RAW Tag Team Championships. The match initially was a triple threat tag team ladder match pitting Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson against Enzo Amore and Big Cass and Sheamus and Cesaro.

However, with The Hardy Boyz's involvement, the match was changed into a Fatal Four-Way ladder match for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

During the closing moments of the match, Jeff Hardy scaled a 20 foot ladder on the outside of the ring while Sheamus and Cesaro were laid out across two ladders perched across the ring apron and ring barricade.

Hardy completed a death defying Swanton Bomb, crashing through Sheamus and Cesaro and sending the tag team through the prone ladders in the process.

This allowed Matt Hardy the opportunity to scale a ladder in the ring and claim the RAW Tag Team Championships, sealing The Hardy Boyz's emphatic return to WWE and WrestleMania.
