#3 Seth Rollins won the Intercontinental Championship
Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship opened the show. Ziggler had the number's advantage going into the match because of Drew McIntyre, who was in his corner at ringside. That changed last week when 'The Lunatic Fringe' Dean Ambrose made his comeback to even the odds for his Shield brother, Seth Rollins. It was fast match with both Rollins and Ziggler going for the early pins.
Fortunately, having Dean Ambrose on his side helped Rollins from any interference by Drew McIntyre and ultimately Rollins was able to win his Intercontinental Championship back. Dean Ambrose did not turn on Seth Rollins which was rumored all week. Seth Rollins winning the title raises a few questions on his feud with Dolph Ziggler. Is this feud over? Will Ambrose turn on Rollins tomorrow on RAW? Will there be a rift between Ziggler and Drew McIntyre? Only time will tell.
