#2 The Man and The Rock school King Corbin
There are not many performers more iconic than The Rock, and for a current star, it may not get any bigger than sharing the ring with The Great One.
The Rock doesn't make many appearances on WWE programming anymore, so when he does, it's a big deal. WWE brought in all the stars for the SmackDown premiere on Fox, including the man who's catchphrase became the name of the show.
Make no mistake about it though, when The Rock's music hit, it was already clear who the new star of the company is. WWE built the entire opening of the show around Becky Lynch. The WWE 2K20 cover girl was given the grand tour through the Fox Studios by Michael Strahan on the pre-show, then became the first Superstar to jerk the curtain on Friday Night SmackDown.
Not only did The Man get to share the ring with The Rock, but The Great One practically requested it, according to my Sportskeeda colleague Tom Colohue.
There was instant chemistry between them. They roasted King Corbin on the mic, before laying the smack-down on him.
It was an immensely fun segment that accomplished two things, firstly it proved that no spotlight is too big for Lynch, as The Man can hold her own on the mic even when sharing the ring with one of the best trash talkers in the company history. Secondly, Lynch collected her debt for the aforementioned End of Days.
