# 1 Hogan Retains the WWF title
Heading into Wrestlemania II, Hulk Hogan had held the WWF title for two years, two months and 16 days having defeated the Iron Sheik for the title at a Madison Square Garden house show in January 1984.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
Hogan didn't defend the belt at the first Wrestlemania, as he wrestled a tag team match with Mr. T against the team of Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Hogan wasn't going to miss the opportunity to defend the belt at Mania again.
Going on as the main event in Los Angeles, as well as the main event of the PPV, Hogan's cage match with King Kong Bundy closed out the show.
While Hogan and Bundy would throw each other over the ring and into the walls of the steel cage, Hogan began to assert his dominance halfway into the fight, opening up a gash on Bundy's head and drawing blood. Throughout the match, Bundy would try to exit the cage through the door, but he was thwarted each time by a desperate Hogan.
Eventually, Hogan would scale the walls of the cage, reaching the floor before Bundy could make it out of the cage to retain the title. After the match, Hogan chased Bundy's manager Bobby Heenan into the cage where he was able to attack him and get revenge for Heenan tormenting Hogan.
