3. Bray Wyatt
After losing to The Usos twice and receiving a beating from his ex-tag team partner Daniel Bryan on this week’s Raw, Bray has got only one chance to win back his lost prestige by being in, at least, the final 4 of the Royal Rumble match.
And this can happen, because WWE won’t let one of their top heel characters to appear weak after months of hype. An ideal scenario would have him and Bryan as two of the few superstars left in the match, and Wyatt finally getting his revenge on Bryan. With help from his teammates, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt is definitely going to highlight this Royal Rumble.
Cody Rhodes' uncle is a WWE Hall of Famer. More details HERE.
2. Roman Reigns
Reigns will dominate the match, and might even win it. Whatever the case shall be, something exciting will happen during the match which would mark the beginning of the end of The Shield. For a guy like Reigns, only a late entry in the match would work, because strength is his area, and powerhouses like him enter late in the match and make some quick eliminations.
Reigns, of course, will wreak havoc in the Royal Rumble match, but a powerhouse doesn’t always win the match, consider Kane‘s appearance in the 2001 Royal Rumble.
According to many of you Reigns should be at the top of this list because of his big impending push in the WWE, but the point is that a push doesn’t determine the quality of a superstar.
1. Dean Ambrose
This guy is going to be the biggest heel in the WWE and at Rumble he is going to prove why. He has got what it takes to last throughout the Rumble, and he could very well be the ‘Iron Man’ of the match.
He might not eliminate as many other wrestlers as Roman Reigns or show Seth Rollins’ technical ability, but this guy knows how to take a beating and still survive, and this match is all about the survival of the fittest. He will also be instrumental in fueling a fight among his own group, and that would lead to their eventual disbanding.
This year’s Rumble is going to be dominated by WWE’s new stars, though they lack the Royal Rumble experience but they should be taken very seriously by the experienced superstars, because one of these five might actually win the match.
