Kairi Sane has done it all since arriving on the NXT brand. She is the only woman to best the dominant NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler and did so twice. First, Sane met the physically imposing former MMA star in the finals of the Mae Young Classic where Sane went on to victory and history as the inaugural Mae Young Classic winner.

While Baszler would attain NXT gold before Sane, The Pirate Princess would have an opportunity to best Baszler once again. Sane defeated Baszler to become NXT Women's Champion at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 and held the championship for more than two months.
