#1 Pete Dunne
There may be no WWE Superstar more valuable to his respective brand than Pete Dunne. The Bruiserweight is virtually synonymous with NXT UK and despite losing his NXT UK Championship last night to WALTER, is still the face of NXT UK.
Dunne achieved legendary status with his 685-day title reign as WWE UK Champion and was talked about in the same breath as legendary long-time champions like Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino. While this may seem like a stretch to many, it isn't. Dunne's reign is arguably all the more impressive considering he held onto a championship for nearly two years in an era with short attention spans, where it isn't uncommon for titles to change hands every few weeks.
Dunne may be the best wrestler in the world today. That isn't an exaggeration. He is absolutely phenomenal (sorry AJ Styles) in the ring, wrestles a brutal believable style, is as aggressive at 5'10" and 205 pound as Brock Lesnar is at 6'3" and 286 pounds. Dunne is more than capable of standing toe to toe with master in-ring technicians like Daniel Bryan or giant world beaters like Brock Lesnar.
Dunne has already appeared in a main roster match in the WWE Royal Rumble and although he was eventually eliminated by Drew McIntyre, made an impression on the rest of the roster. He is a force to be reckoned with and simply too good to be used primarily as a regional talent.
The only argument against Dunne making a move to the main roster is that he is simply too integral to NXT UK, but Dunne having success on the main roster would only bring more recognition to NXT UK. He is simply too good to be the United Kingdom's best kept secret any longer.
