#2 NXT Championship Match: Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: 25
Adam Cole came out with Josiah Williams who rapped a remix of the Undisputed Era theme. This was really well done. This was a 30+ minute all action-packed match as Cole and Gargano worked at a crazy pace.
Highlights included The Panama City Playboy catching Gargano with a superkick on a tope. Cole hit an awesome Panama Sunrise from the ring apron to the floor but only got a two count. Both competitors used each other's signature spots. Cole grabbed a chair but was stopped by the referee. Gargano hit a tope to Cole but the referee went down as well. The next spot was great as The Panama City Playboy signaled for the rest of the Undisputed Era just like they did at TakeOver: New York. Instead, no one came out as Cole was playing mind games with the champion. Upon reentering, Cole hit an elevated piledriver for another close near fall.

Gargano fell to the canvas as Cole went for The Last Shot. The champion played possum as he placed the leader of the Undisputed Era in the Gargano Escape. Cole using his wrestling IQ broke free as he attacked Gargano's injured knee which he worked on earlier. Cole smelled blood in the water as he went for The Last Shot but Gargano countered into a cradle but only a two count. The champion wouldn't be so lucky the second time as The Panama City Playboy hit a Super Panama Sunrise and followed with The Last Shot for the 1-2-3 to an amazing ovation.
Gargano looked disappointed on the floor as Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong came out as they celebrated with Cole inside the ring. This was just a tremendous match as both Cole and Gargano have great chemistry as they put on an awesome show for the fans.
