Ankle Lock
Ken Shamrock was the first to introduce this to the WWE Universe, but it was Kurt Angle who made it famous, using the move to win many a memorable match.
The move, as the name suggests, is executed by getting hold of the opponent’s ankle and twisting it as much as possible, leaving the opponent writhing in pain. If not unlocked quickly, it could do a lot of damage to the leg, making it difficult for the wrestler to even stand.
Here’s a look at Kurt Angle’s ankle lock.
