He made his return to WWE as part of NXT. He became the NXT Champion and was one of the most dominant NXT Champions.

Drew McIntyre debuted on Raw as the partner of Dolph Ziggler and helped him become the Intercontinental Champion. McIntyre and Ziggler are currently the Raw Tag Team Champions and are feuding with The Shield recently with Braun Strowman as their partner.
