This match took place at No Mercy, a pay per view exclusive to Smackdown Live. This event also featured the main-event as an opener. This match was highly appreciated by many. Although all 3 men put on amazing performances, AJ Styles’ performance in this match was the show-stealer. The match featured amazing spots, and served as a brilliant opener, hyping up the crowd for the rest of the night. No other match on the card topped this match though.

Although this match was filled with some awesome spots, the ending was a little disappointing. The ending saw AJ Styles hitting John Cena with a few chair shots and pinning him. It would have been great if the match had ended with Styles hitting Cena with his finisher, or even with an alternate finisher which the fans had never seen before but nonetheless, the match was good and all 3 superstars got their time to shine.
