#2 Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns at Battleground 2016:

Did you ever expect the epic match between the three members of The Shield to take place on any pay per view other than Wrestlemania? Well no, but that isn’t a bad thing. Every pay per view needs to have amazing matches in order for it to sell out and all 3 members were at the top of their respective games then. The match was supposed to be for the WWE Championship. There were 5 weeks left for build-up so everything seemed right. Moreover, the extra stake, which was that the winner would bring the Championship to his Brand, made the match mean even more than it was already supposed to. However, before the match was even announced, Roman Reigns got suspended for 30 days for violating WWE’s wellness policy.
This didn’t jeopardize the match, however, as the match was supposed to take place 34 days after Reign’s suspension. Reigns’ suspension left him completely out of the build-up and Ambrose and Rollins carried the feud for 4 weeks. The match turned out to be amazing as it was supposed to with all 3 members beating the hell out of each other with Ambrose winning the match in the end by pinning Roman Reigns, resulting in the WWE title becoming a part of Smackdown Live. The match was filled with tension among the Shield brothers and jaw-dropping moves from all 3 competitors but the match would have meant much more, had Reigns been promoting it too with Rollins and Ambrose.
