CM Punk
He had it coming.
CM Punk has been one of the few success stories to have come out of WWE in the past couple of years. Currently, he is one of the top stars on the roster. He is the reason why arenas around the country are sold out.
However, recently, there has been a glaring change in his character. He is not that ‘Bada$$’, loud mouth, arrogant prick who was a pain in WWE officials’ laurels about a year back.
And no, this is not because he is a face. He was a face about two years ago, and what did he do, he tore the house down.
This CM Punk, the one that we see on our screen nowadays is the humble, grammatically accurate, down to earth, goody2shoes, long-lost twin brother of the one we saw two years back.
CM Punk has all the potential to become the next Stone Cold Steve Austin. He has the attitude, charisma and skill-set to become the next true outlaw in WWE. Still, WWE continue to back him as a good guy.
Agreed, he is a face, but you cannot steal the things that make CM Punk away from him in order for him to be a face. Off-the-screen, he is still a loud mouth, brash and an arrogant prick, so why not use that to the favour of the company and let him tear the house down week-in and week-out.
One reason. WWE logic.
