It’s still hard to believe that the guy once known as Husky Harris would go on to be repackaged as the leader of the most monstrous stable of the 21st Century.
Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, known as The Wyatt Family, made their main roster debut in July of 2013 after a series of cryptic vignettes were aired each week on Raw.
Immediately upon making their debut, The Wyatt Family wanted to make a statement, and they did just that by taking out the demonic monster Kane. Bray would go on to defeat Kane in a Ring of Fire match at SummerSlam as well.
Since arriving on the main roster, The Wyatts have been a constant source of absolute destruction. The creative workings behind this idea were brilliant. After being repackaged, Bray Wyatt has been one of the most successful Superstars to ever change personas.
Things are much different today for The Wyatt Family. While Erick Rowan is recovering from injuries, Luke Harper has turned babyface and Braun Strowman has demolished everyone and everything on the Raw roster.
Currently, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton are the only active members of The Wyatt Family, which has made for a very unique, yet highly successful combination. Together, the two have won the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, which they eventually lost to American Alpha.
However, all is not lost for the followers of buzzards. Randy Orton won this year’s Royal Rumble match, earning a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania.
Despite winning The Rumble, Orton subsequently opted out of the title shot following Bray Wyatt’s WWE Title victory at The Elimination Chamber, stating that he did not want to face his “master.”
Bray Wyatt is at the peak of his career thus far. After scratching and clawing away for many years, The Eater of Worlds has finally reached the pinnacle of his profession, as the WWE Champion.
