John Cena will be featuring in a reality show called American Grit.
On this show, sixteen competitors are divided into four teams of four, each led by a military veteran who is designated as the team's cadre. The teams compete in a series of challenges called "Evolutions," modeled after military training exercises, and must cope with both the physical rigors and demands of the outdoor wilderness setting.
On American Grit, Cena notionally plays second fiddle to one of the teams of four as they’re cadre. They’re military veterans who act as judges on a television show and pick teams of competitors to mentor.
This new venture for Cena could be an indication of him winding down his WWE career with reality T.V. as an option for the franchise player in his future.
