#4 Reason why Roman Reigns isn't in the Elimination Chamber match
WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 will see Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, King Corbin, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Daniel Bryan step inside the Elimination Chamber. The winner of the match will go on to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns for his title later that night.
Earlier reports suggested that WWE originally planned to have Roman Reigns defend his title inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday. However, they changed that. On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the likely reason for the change was to keep it different from the RAW Elimination Chamber match where Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship inside the deadly structure.
"It's a way to get heat on Reigns. Originally, Reigns was going to be in the chamber match. That was the original idea and then I guess they didn't want to do it on both shows or something. Whatever…they wanted to tweak it, so they tweaked it."
The way everything is set up, Roman Reigns is almost guaranteed to retain his Universal Championship this Sunday. The question is, who will win the Elimination Chamber match?
