#3 We want tables
Not only does this chant sometimes put unrealistic expectations on a match when it doesn't call for the use of weaponry, it also ruins the psychology of the match and leaves competitors thinking that they aren't putting on a good enough match unless they put each other through a table.
Sure, a 'we want tables' chant is fitting whenever there are extreme rule situations or during a ladder match, but to call for one out of nowhere when that's not where the match is going is just rude. It also is extremely disrespectful to the competitors in the ring who are trying to put on a good show for the fans.

Furthermore, chanting we want tables could be distracting to other fans that are actually enjoying the match taking place in the ring and thus ruins their experience as well. In the end, it might seem like a nit pick to some, especially with how popular the chant was when The Dudley Boys were tearing it up back in the day, but it's just distracting any other time.
