TSN’s Off The Record spoke to one of the former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen about WWE approaching him. He said that WWE called him about meeting to talk during WrestleMania 31 weekend in Santa Clara, California. There were also news about WWE inviting former UFC fighter Wanderlei Silva to the talks, but Sonnen said he didn’t know if Silva had accepted the invite or not.
Sonnen did not reveal what exactly the talks was about but it seems that WWE has given him tickets to either the Hall of Fame or WrestleMania. We had reported earlier about MMA apparel company Tapout being associated with WWE and now bringing former UFC fighters seems interesting. WWE is yet to make an official statement on this matter.
