Roman Reigns made his long-awaited comeback to WWE at the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event last weekend. The Original Tribal Chief returned during the Bloodline Rules Match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.
Roman Reigns delivered a Superman Punch and a Spear to his former Enforcer and helped The American Nightmare retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
With the return of Roman Reigns, The Bloodline saga may witness additional remarkable comebacks in the coming days. In addition to those associated with this story, several other stars might also return to the Stamford-based promotion this year.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Here are four superstars who could return to WWE later this year:
#4. The Rock returns to join Solo Sikoa
The Rock could be gearing up for a return to SmackDown, ready to reveal that he’s the mastermind behind Sikoa’s rise since WrestleMania XL.
It would be shocking if The People's Champion returned this week on WWE SmackDown as Roman Reigns prepares to confront his former Enforcer. The Final Boss might initially appear to urge Roman to reconcile with the family, only to betray the former Shield member moments later by launching a vicious attack.
The Rock's return is further justified, especially since he warned Cody Rhodes that their story was just getting started during his confrontation with The American Nightmare on RAW after WrestleMania 40.
#3. Jimmy Uso could also return on SmackDown this week to aid Roman Reigns
Jimmy Uso has been sidelined since SmackDown after WrestleMania XL. He was the first to face the fury of the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief. Jimmy was attacked and used as a scapegoat to send a message to the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
Since Jimmy's last appearance, there have been no indications or suggestions regarding a potential return or a reunion with his family. However, we might see some action on this week's SmackDown, especially with Roman Reigns finally making his return.
#2. Charlotte Flair could finally return
Charlotte Flair has been sidelined since December 2023 due to an injury. The Queen has been putting in the effort to make her comeback, but so far, there haven't been any hints from the Stamford-based promotion regarding her return.
Flair has been sharing her workout videos on social media, so her comeback might happen sooner than we think. She might just be the perfect opponent for the newly crowned WWE Women's Champion, Nia Jax.
The two women have had a heated rivalry in the past, and if WWE handles it well, it could pave the way for another chapter of the feud between The Queen and The Irresistible Force on SmackDown.
#1. Alexa Bliss could return to join Wyatt Sicks
The 32-year-old has been out of action since January 2023. Her last in-ring appearance came against Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Later that year, The Goddess gave birth to a baby girl.
After an extended hiatus, it looks like Alexa Bliss might be gearing up for a comeback! She’s been sharing workout videos on her social media accounts, which suggests her return could be just around the corner. Considering her past partnership with the late Bray Wyatt, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Bliss team up with the Wyatt Sicks upon her potential return.
