#1 WWE drops former RAW Superstar Brock Lesnar's trademark
WWE had filed to trademark the monicker 'Brock Lesnar', however, the attempt was denied by USPTO in March. WWE was given 6 months to get written permission from former RAW Superstar Brock Lesnar in order to file the trademark.
However, Brock Lesnar is reportedly not under WWE contract any more and has been absent from RAW since WrestleMania 36, where he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre.
To register a mark that consists of or comprises the name of a particular living individual, including a first name, pseudonym, stage name, or nickname, an applicant must provide a written consent personally signed by the named individual.
The Beast Incarnate was the biggest star on Monday Night RAW and his absence can be felt on the red brand. There are rumors that Brock Lesnar will eventually return to WWE once live crowds return to the arenas.
As of now, there is no word on when exactly The Beast Incarnate may be seen back on RAW but we hope that he will return ahead of WrestleMania 37.
