#4 Daniel Bryan to return on RAW

Speaking of possible opponents for RAW's WWE Champion Bobby Lashley for SummerSlam, another name that came up was that of former world champion Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan was last seen on SmackDown on the first episode in May, where he lost the Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns. However, the match stipulated that if Bryan loses, he will have to leave SmackDown.

While Bryan left SmackDown on-screen, his current WWE contract had also run out and he decided not to renew. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated that Daniel Bryan could also face Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam as he is likely to return to RAW.

"Bryan Danielson, if he does come back and it would likely be for Raw, also fits into the list."

#3 RAW Superstar Becky Lynch's return plans were cancelled

As noted, RAW superstar Becky Lynch is getting married to Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch has been absent from RAW since she took time off due to pregnancy last year. It was speculated that Lynch would return to WWE at WrestleMania 37, however, those plans were canceled by WWE for two reasons.

Dave Meltzer of WON noted that one reason for Becky Lynch's Wrestlemania return being dropped was that WWE did not want to rush her return in any way. The other reason was that the two parties had not negotiated a new contract.

"Lynch wasn’t used at WrestleMania as first talked about and teased by her because they were waiting for her to sign a new deal, which is now in effect and because they felt it was too early to debut her before she would be back wrestling."
