Ever since RAW Superstar Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship, fans have been clamoring for a match between him and Brock Lesnar. Regardless, The All-Mighty will be facing Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37.

As per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Lashley was told he would be facing Brock Lesnar when he returned to the company a few years back. The match idea was apparently nixed and the two men never squared off inside a WWE ring:

“You know when Bobby Lashley came in he was told that he was going to get Brock and that was years ago, and it just never materialized. They just never got around to it. It’s not that they couldn’t do it, they just never got around to it.”

Despite rumors suggesting RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre will win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, there is still a major chance we will get to see Lesnar vs Lashley down the road.

#1 Update on Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania status

As per Dave Meltzer of WON, The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar will be missing this year's WrestleMania. Fans had been hoping that RAW's Brock Lesnar would return ahead of WrestleMania 37 as it was stated that WWE will bring him back when they have a live crowd:

“No Goldberg, no Undertaker, no Lesnar. So, you’ve taken some of the biggest attractions off and Edge does not replace them.”

Despite WrestleMania 37 featuring the return of a live audience, the former WWE Champion will not be in action.
