#2 Reason why big stars were moved to SmackDown from RAW during the 2020 WWE Draft

The 2020 Draft saw some exciting trades take place. While we saw some 'A-listers' like AJ Styles, The Miz and Bray Wyatt joined RAW, a lot of the bigger names from Monday Night RAW were moved to SmackDown.

Some of these names include Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio and The Street Profits. As per Dave Meltzer of WOR, the reason for SmackDown getting the big storylines and Superstars is that WWE wanted to please FOX more than they did USA Network.

Meltzer said that WWE feel that their relationship with FOX is more important than that of USA Network, which airs RAW every Monday night. Meltzer said that WWE are guaranteed their show on the USA Network as the network requires a brand like RAW each week. (H/t: SportsKeeda)

SmackDown clearly has a better roster in terms of star power as big names like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, and Rey Mysterio are a part of the Blue brand instead of Monday Night RAW.
