#2 RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre wants a feud with Jinder Mahal
While speaking to SportsKeeda, RAW's top Champion Drew McIntyre stated that he wants his next feud to be with someone whom he can help elevate on the roster. Talking about the possibilities, McIntyre seemed keen on having a program with either Sheamus or his good friend and former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal.
McIntyre talked about how a feud against Jinder Mahal could translate into a longer program in the future.
''I hope so. We have so much real history and he is advertised to return. If you've seen on his social media, he's been posting pictures how he looks right now. Physically he looks incredible. He's ready to get back.''
Drew McIntyre said that it would make for a great story if he gets to face either Jinder Mahal or RAW Superstar Sheamus for the WWE Championship in the near future.
#1 No plans for Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania as of now
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE has no clear direction for RAW's WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. Meltzer stated that the reason behind there being no mention of Drew McIntyre's WrestleMania plans is because the company is still not sure on what direction to take.
The reason there has been no television direction for the main matches at Mania and you don’t hear anything about them is because there isn’t any. The only thing we know is the top RAW championship matches are not locked in.
Drew McIntyre will be defending his WWE Championship against Goldberg at Royal Rumble. However, it looks like there no plans to prolong the feud between the two men up till WrestleMania 37, even though there are rumors which indicate that Goldberg could be a part of the PPV.
