#4. Rumor killer on Becky Lynch's return at SummerSlam
The Man Becky Lynch's return at SummerSlam was believed to be WWE's reply to CM Punk joining AEW. However, Andrew Zarian of Mat Men has revealed that such is not the case and Lynch's return has nothing to do with CM Punk:
"Becky wasn’t a response to CM Punk," clarified Andrew Zarian.
Lynch returned at SummerSlam as a last-minute substitute for Sasha Banks and took on SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair. The Man beat Belair in just 27 seconds to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.
Becky Lynch had forfeited the RAW Women's title 15 months ago when she went on maternity leave from WWE. It now looks like another big name has been added to the SmackDown roster.
#3. Bianca Belair breaks her silence after defeat at SummerSlam
Despite suffering an embarrassing loss to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam, The EST of WWE had good things to say about Lynch when she spoke to Denise Salcedo on the red carpet of SummerSlam's after-party.
Belair said she had mixed emotions about losing to The Man in under a minute. While she is happy for Becky Lynch's return, it was a bitter-sweet moment for her as she has now lost the SmackDown Women's title:
''I'm happy to be a part of that, but I lost my title, and right now, I'm just emotional. I feel defeated. It was bittersweet, Becky Lynch, what she has accomplished inside and outside the ring. She is a legend in the making," said Belair.
