#2. Becky Lynch comments on becoming the Women's Champion at SummerSlam
After making her return to WWE at SummerSlam and capturing the SmackDown Women's Championship, Becky Lynch had an emotional message to give. In a backstage interview shortly after her win at SummerSlam, Lynch was asked how she felt about being back. Here's what the SmackDown Women's Champion said:
"The Man is back, it feels good."
Though many felt that her sudden win at SummerSlam may be a sign of a possible heel turn, it looks like both Belair and Lynch are going to remain babyfaces, even if they have a program after SummerSlam.
#1. Bray Wyatt sign confiscated at SummerSlam
A fan held a huge Bray Wyatt sign during the Baron Corbin vs. Big E match at SummerSlam. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that the sign was confiscated by WWE:
''There was a big Wyatt sign that I saw in the Big E/Baron Corbin match; umm, you know, they panned away really quickly, and then I was told that they took it from the guy, which actually ended being, I was told, kind of heated. But the guy did give it up," revealed Dave Meltzer.
Bray Wyatt was released by WWE in July. He was supposed to make his return in August before he was unceremoniously let go by the company. When a fan tweeted about the Bray Wyatt sign at SummerSlam, Wyatt himself retweeted the post as well.
