WWE's upcoming Premium Live Event, Money in the Bank, is around the corner, and the Intercontinental Championship picture has started to get interesting. Sheamus and Bron Breakker were seen stepping up against Sami Zayn on Monday Night RAW last week. Moreover, Ludwig Kaiser is also in the mix.
The ongoing conundrum between all four stars will likely culminate in a huge multi-person match at the upcoming spectacle. As a result, it could pave the way for The Celtic Warrior to capture the Intercontinental Championship, the only title that has prevented him from becoming a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.
However, the possibility of Sheamus becoming a Grand Slam Champion at Money in the Bank is relatively low. Although he could receive a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming spectacle, The Celtic Warrior capturing the title is unlikely.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
It is because Sami Zayn's championship reign may not end so soon, especially after how he overcame the odds against Gunther and captured the title at WrestleMania XL. Moreover, the championship changing hands just weeks before The Biggest Party of The Summer seems unlikely.
Therefore, the prospect of Sheamus becoming a Grand Slam Champion at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event is implausible, even if he gets a shot at the title. It remains to be seen if he manages to get a shot at Sami Zayn's title at the spectacular event in Toronto, Canada, next month.
Sheamus' rivalry with Ludwig Kaiser may end at Money in the Bank
Last week on Monday Night RAW, Ludwig Kaiser interfered in the match between Sheamus and Bron Breakker. The Imperium member was involved in a tumultuous brawl with the former WWE Champion at ringside before he got Speared by Bron Breakker.
From what transpired on RAW, it looks like the rivalry between both superstars is far from over. This could eventually lead to them getting involved in the Intercontinental Championship picture. It is because The Celtic Warrior has already asserted his desire to win the IC Title, while Ludwig Kaiser has made a new enemy in the form of Bron Breakker. Kaiser and Breakker will lock horns in a singles match this week on the flagship show.
This seems to indicate that a multi-person feud is being cooked on Monday Night RAW, which could also see the culmination of Sheamus' rivalry with Kaiser. It will be interesting to see if the Irish star interferes during the Imperium member's clash with Breakker.
