Triple H and WWE are preparing for a blockbuster show when RAW moves to Netflix next week. The Chief Content Officer of WWE has already revealed that the company is entering a new era, and the biggest storylines and stars will be on Monday Night RAW going forward.
That said, next week's premiere on Netflix could see the arrival of a former AEW star, Penta after WWE shared another tease during the final RAW of 2024.
Triple H could show up during the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix, introduce Penta as the red brand's newest star, and put him in action right away. Penta could team up with Rey Mysterio to take on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Woods and Kofi confronted Rey backstage, opening the way for a tag team match next week. But, The New Day could assault the LWO members backstage, forcing Rey to search for a partner for the match.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Should that happen, Triple H could appear once Mysterio enters the ring and announce Penta as the WWE Hall of Famer's mystery partner, meaning that the former AEW star will enter WWE as a face.
Triple H and WWE Creative could reportedly make changes to storytelling upon move to Netflix
There is the expectation that Triple H and WWE Creative will change how storytelling is presented when RAW moves to Netflix next week.
According to Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda, WWE wants to make storylines 'more authentic than scripted,' given that WWE Creative will have more freedom on the global streaming platform.
"There are talent backstage in WWE who are really focused on getting a feel of the crowd and "going with their gut with what's given" by the creative team in order to generate stories that come off as more authentic and not scripted. This is a theme that will go into the Netflix era with storylines," Featherstone posted on X.
So far, next Monday on RAW, Jey Uso will face Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan will put her Women's World Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat, while CM Punk will take on Seth Rollins in a match 10 years in the making.
