The WarGames Match at Survivor Series wasn't the best night for Bronson Reed as he not only ended up on the losing team but also broke his foot during a spot. While Reed will receive the best medical assistance, reports suggest he could even miss WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next year.
If that's the case and Reed does end up missing The Show of Shows in 2025, WWE CCO Triple H might be forced to bring back a former champion after 255 days on the red brand. And that man is the towering Omos!
The last time The Nigerian Giant was seen in the squared circle was during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal earlier this year during WrestleMania week. Despite being a favorite to win the contest, the former RAW Team Team Champion lost and hasn't been seen since.
However, with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner Bronson Reed being sidelined due to an injury, Triple H could look at bringing back Omos. For all one knows, the 7ft plus-tall giant could also make the best use of this potential opportunity and become one of the most feared superstars in the promotion.
An update on Bronson Reed and another superstar's returns after getting injured at Survivor Series: WarGames
At Survivor Series: WarGames, Bronson Reed was not the only superstar who got injured. Another name who suffered a similar fate was Jimmy Uso. However, the positive for Big Jim was the fact that his efforts did not go in vain as the OG Bloodline and CM Punk beat the Solo Sikoa-led team.
After this victory, fans are now interested in knowing when Jimmy would come back on television programming. During a Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes' Bill Apter provided updates on Jimmy and Reed's returns to WWE.
"Jimmy Uso, as far as I know, January. Bronson Reed, I believe, they [WWE] are targeting May if not June. So that's unforunate. You know, not to say that's the same injury at all but Adam Cole snapped his ankle last year at [AEW] Grand Slam, and he was out almost a year. So, it's gonna be a while for Bronson Reed, unfortunately," he said. [11:40 onwards]
When Reed returns to the Stamford-based promotion it will be interesting to see who he goes after. Before his injury, the Auszilla was receiving a decent push, which will most likely continue when he makes his comeback.
