It has happened before and it has happened twice. These two wrestlers are warriors (no doubt on that) and to their credit they have put up a real good fight both the times they faced off.
Summerslam 2012 was where it started after Lesnar’s big return to WWE. The story line was good and the match was brutal and painful. Brock Lesnar almost ended The Game’s career with his deadly Kiamura lock breaking HHH’s arm, no second opinions on that. But no, that wasn’t to be the end of it.
Known for strong come-backs, Hunter did come back and came back with a purpose. He challenged Lesnar ‘The Killing Machine’ at the grandest stage WWE has to offer – Wrestlemania 29!

To make the feud more lively, one man has to be given unlimited credits and that’s Brock Lesnar’s manager, Paul Heyman. He smartly did his work and kept the WWE Universe guessing. He was the brain behind turning the intense rivalry personal and so it successfully happened.
The Stage was set, match speculations were set. The WAR was ON and the 2 brawlers fought to the last inch of their life and at the end, the ‘King of Kings’ stood tall after giving Lesnar a Pedigree on the steel steps. That match was rated 4.5/5 by experts.
Most fans would have thought that was it, the rivalry is over. But no, the score 1-1 was just not enough. WWE has signed Brock at a huge price for limited number of shows for making money out of him quickly. But the real problem was that very few superstars in that locker room were showing their interest in working with Brock Lesnar, for the beast he is. WWE’s go-to man Triple H stood up once again for his company and decided to continue with the feud till WWE got a worthy opponent for Brock.
Brock Lesnar is 38 and Triple H 43, so there is every possibility of injury. But still the company is ready to bear the risks. Why? Because both men are performers, their strength and attributes compliment each other well enough and can keep the fans on their feet. So it doesn’t matter how soon a 3rd match between the two happens.
WWE may not have actually wanted the feud to continue but due to injury issues with The Rock, the company had to find a way to keep Lesnar busy. So Triple H was the man they had to go with! Why Triple H? Because that man can take it. I still remember the comeback Hunter made after his Quadriceps injury in 2001. Brock brings the pain, and there you have a man who can take it, so why not?
Well, it’s a needless match but it still is a safe bet from the company’s point of view. WWE played it smart and fans can be rest assured that they are not going to end up disappointed.
The match is going to be extreme, and it’s just few days away.
“It’s Game On!”
