Triple H faces a major dilemma ahead of WWE Raw Netflix Premiere

Triple H and the rest of WWE are preparing for a blockbuster event when RAW moves to Netflix in early January. The premiere episode will air on January 6.

WWE hosted a RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event on Wednesday. Triple H said that the move to the global streaming platform will bring the biggest superstars and storylines to the red brand.

At the same time, The Game is facing a major dilemma regarding which match will headline the show. Michael Cole announced that the CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins clash would main event the show, but there are reports that this might not be the case.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins match is more than one year in the making

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins has been a match in the making since The Best in the World returned to WWE at Survivor Series in November 2023. The two megastars have been feuding for months, which intensified recently and is far from over.

It would make sense to main event the RAW premiere on Netflix, as it is the first part of this rivalry, which is expected to extend through at least WrestleMania 41 and beyond that.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa have had a rivalry ever since the Original Tribal Chief returned to WWE at SummerSlam after a four-month hiatus. The two megastars have split wins, and now the Tribal Combat could eventually settle their rivalry.

Roman and Solo will fight for bragging rights in The Bloodline in Tribal Combat. Their match could be the main event of Monday Night RAW's premiere on Netflix. The stakes are high because it will settle the True Tribal Chief debate.

Based on reports that WWE may go in a different direction regarding the main event of the RAW premiere on Netflix, Triple H might have adopted this approach to promote the Punk vs. Rollins match as the main event, as this is something that the company has done before (to promote different matches as the main event), especially at big-time events, like WrestleMania.

Likewise, Triple H and WWE might promote the battle between the Best in the World and The Visionary as the main event, but eventually, the Tribal Combat would be the match that will close the RAW premiere on Netflix.
