Triple H could fire Nick Aldis as SmackDown General Manager. Everything is getting out of hand on Friday Night SmackDown, especially when it comes to the situation with Kevin Owens.

A few days ago, after Saturday Night's Main Event went off-air, Kevin Owens got into a physical altercation with Triple H. This incident could put Nick Aldis' job in danger as this is not the first time the CCO has had to deal with this problem himself.

Last month, Kevin Owens attacked Randy Orton on an edition of SmackDown and took him out with a banned piledriver move. The Prizefighter did the same thing to Cody Rhodes after Saturday Night's Main Event went off the air and has potentially taken him out too.

The Game could see this as a massive failure on the SmackDown GM's part. Apart from the two Kevin Owens incidents, there was also a mystery attack on Jade Cargill. Unable to get the blue brand under control on three occasions, Triple H could fire Nick Aldis but only as General Manager.

Triple H firing Nick Aldis as General Manager could give birth to a new storyline

If Triple H fires Nick Aldis from his backstage role, this could be a way to bring him in as an in-ring competitor. This could be the start of the Aldis-Owens storyline. The former TNA World Champion could blame The Prizefighter for his firing and start a feud with him.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the SmackDown General Manager claimed he was ready to return to the ring. He also revealed he was not satisfied with the in-ring career he has had until now.

"In all honesty, no (I’m not at peace with the career I’ve had). I would like to lace ‘em up. I don’t care if it’s on a regular basis but, I’ve earned it, once. If it was one more time, so be it. Like I said, I feel like I meet the criteria to be on that canvas at least once… (My bicep is) 100 percent."(44:08 onwards)

The SmackDown General Manager had to stop in-ring competition due to a massive bicep injury. However, considering this recent revelation, we could soon see an in-ring feud for him if the story is right.

Unfortunately, this may not happen in the immediate future, as Triple H and WWE don't like to rush into storylines and give their feuds a proper build.
