Triple H introduced some brand-new WWE championships in 2023. The Game unveiled the new World Heavyweight Championship in the lead-up to Night of Champions. He also presented Roman Reigns with a new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt on SmackDown. The Game also introduced two new World Title replacements in the women's division.
Meanwhile, fans have been wanting WWE’s Chief Content Officer to separate the tag team title belts for a long time. The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship is currently the top title for both the RAW and SmackDown tag team divisions.
But what if, instead of introducing new tag team titles for the blue brand, Triple H unveils a trios championship? The Cerebral Assassin has been instrumental in building up factions over the last one-and-a-half years.

Both RAW and SmackDown have witnessed the rise of new stables. The blue brand recently saw Karrion Kross join forces with the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering. Santos Escobar also formed his own version of the LWO with Los Lotharios.
Fans shouldn’t be surprised if the rise of these three-man groups leads to the creation of a trios championship in WWE. It remains to be seen what Triple H has in store for the stacked roster on RAW and SmackDown in 2024.
Triple H to split tag team titles on the road to WWE WrestleMania 40? Looking at the potential
The RAW and SmackDown tag team division is stacked with talent. The red brand has a slight edge over the blue brand in that the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Judgment Day, are exclusive to it.
That being said, Triple H might pull off a surprise on the Road to WrestleMania 40 by splitting the tag team titles. The Game could have SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announce a tournament to crown the tag team champions for the blue brand in the lead-up to the biggest show of the year.
Hypothetically, either Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania would host the tournament finals to determine the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
