WWE Money in the Bank 2024 has concluded, and now the Stamford-based promotion is heading towards SummerSlam. The Biggest Party of the Summer will take place on Saturday, August 3, at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Triple H might make a significant change to the plans for the show due to a major botch involving Seth Rollins and Damian Priest.

The botch occurred when Rollins executed a Falcon Arrow and attempted to pin Damian Priest during the World Heavyweight Title match at MITB. The Judgment Day member was seemingly supposed to kick out, but he didn't, forcing the referee to stop the count. Hence, many believe Rollins was robbed of a title win. This could force The Game to alter the plans involving Priest's gold.

Additionally, Rollins wasn't the one who got pinned in the match, as The Archer of Infamy pinned Drew McIntyre to secure the victory, thanks to CM Punk's assistance. These factors could lead to Triple H adding The Visionary to the original SummerSlam plans that reportedly involve Gunther taking on Damian Priest for the title.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

For those unaware, Gunther won the 2024 King of the Ring Tournament, earning a World Heavyweight Title shot at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

It is important to note that there was a stipulation in the Priest vs. Rollins MITB match. Since The Visionary lost, he would not be able to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title as long as The Judgment Day member remains champion.

Notably, there was no reference to whether Priest pinning Rollins was mandatory. Therefore, it is entirely at Triple H's discretion whether he wants to alter the plans for SummerSlam 2024 or continue with the original lineup.

It remains to be seen what will happen in the aftermath of Money in the Bank 2024, as Damian Priest is still the World Heavyweight Champion.

Why making changes to the SummerSlam card could be best for business?

One of the reasons why adding Seth Rollins to the World Heavyweight Title match at SummerSlam could be best for business is that it adds an element of unpredictability to the imminent Priest vs. Gunther match.

The inclusion of The Visionary increases the chances of The Judgment Day member losing his title, as either The Ring General or Rollins could score the pinfall without Priest's involvement.

Moreover, adding Rollins to the title match at The Biggest Party of the Summer could be a great way to incorporate the botched pinfall into the storyline. This would acknowledge the controversy surrounding Money in the Bank 2024 and create a compelling narrative leading to August 3.
